Position Objective:

The Regional Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of the network of healthcare providers within Better Health Group. This Leadership role is crucial in ensuring the delivery, success, and execution of Better Health Group Programs. The incumbent will report and work closely with the Director of Provider Engagement (or similar role) and other stakeholders to drive team goals and enhance the overall quality of care the network provides.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage local field team of Program Coordinators
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to enhance the performance of the provider network
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and managing performance improvement plans 
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address performance gaps
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with providers to provide feedback and support their professional development
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration between providers and other departments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with providers to foster a positive and productive working environment
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in provider performance management
  • Provide guidance and support to providers in implementing quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement training programs for providers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to provider performance management
  • Prepare reports and presentations on provider performance for senior leadership and other stakeholders
  • Additional duties as assigned
 

Position Requirements/ Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years experience in provider performance management or a similar role within the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with providers and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration


 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned
  • Must be able to lift at least 15lbs at times
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation
