THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking prolific and dynamic operations manager for our MRA dept. Candidate must have knowledge of HCC-MRA coding and medical chart documentation best practices.

THE WORK

  • Responsible for the day to day direct management and oversight of all coding operations for all market, ensuring all physician and team member issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Manage team of coders/auditors and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Establish KPI and performance guidelines in terms of quality and productivity measures.
  • Identify trends and gaps in provider documentation and set up training sessions.
  • Assist with chart retrieval activities and retrospective chart reviews, tracking and submissions.
  • Provide updates on new statutes/regulations/policies and guidance in coding/quality assurance/auditing and training activities
  • Travel (limited) may be required from time to time for client visits, corporate meetings and conferences.
  • The HCC-MRA Coding & Documentation Manager reports to Sr. Director of Medicare Risk Management

THE SKILLS

  • Subject Matter Expert in HCC_MRA Coding and medical record documentation guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Very strong time management skills to handle significant work load.
  • Experience managing remote staff 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Organized and detail oriented with attention to detail  
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google products
  • Great attitude, highly motivated and problem solver.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or in equivalent experience desired
  • CPC or CRC
