THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently searching for a competitive, self-motivated, enthusiastic Team Member to work the greater Tampa market, including Hillsborough and Polk counties.  Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills, outgoing personality and must be results-oriented.  The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential.

THE WORK

The Provider Consultant position at Physician Partners reports directly to the Senior Director of Network Management and will possess a high-level understanding of each individual department functions, including physician recruiting, credentialing, physician network operations, finance, health services, etc.  This Team Member works to create positive change in the market through recruiting and contracting primary care physicians, monitoring monthly financial reports and executing marketing strategies.  The Provider Consultant works closely with a regional team of coders and care coordinators to help support and train office teams while having direct impact on the improved health care of our community.   The role operates in a fast-paced and engaging environment with plenty of future advancement opportunities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration or related field required
  • Experience working in a fast-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Proven project management, new program implementation,  quality improvement, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills
