Account Management Representative

We are currently searching for a fast-paced, enthusiastic and service-oriented Team Member to work onsite at our Tampa corporate office.  The Account Management Representative will support our Network Operations Team that manages our network of Primary Care Physicians, Physician Office Managers, and Health Plan Partners.  


  • Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail (OCD is a plus!). This Account Management Representative must own it, be relentless and move quickly - no turtles allowed.  
  • This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Core Operations and Program Management and will possess a high-level understanding of the company’s network of physicians and health plan partners.  Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Receive and resolve various physician office issues, tracking such issues to identify and correct root-causes, and report to other team members as appropriate.
    • Communicate physician office demographic changes to health plans and maintain our provider database with updated information through quarterly reconciliations.
    • Provide physician offices reports and tools to get to Better Health.
    • Provide coverage when Provider Relations Consultants are unavailable.
    • Assist with general administrative tasks such as scanning, creating handouts for meetings, etc.

  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Multitasking and attention to detail is a must.

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare environment such as a Physician Practice Office Manager or Account Representative at a Health Plan, IPA or MSO.
  • Experience in HMO/Managed Healthcare or Health Insurance Industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, management, healthcare administration or related field preferred.
