THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently searching for a competitive, self-motivated, enthusiastic team member to work as a Nursing Supervisor at our St. Cloud Clinic.  Must be bilingual Spanish/English.  

THE WORK

The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful management and operation of medical practices under the direction of the office administrator.  Will provide nurses with resources necessary to meet the needs of patients and meet the financial objectives of the practice.  Candidate will ensure cohesive workflow between nurses and providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create schedules for nursing staff and maintain timely workflow based on the practice's changing needs.
  • Oversee nursing documentation and medical practices.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies for our three locations and place orders.
  • Administer injections and vaccinations, remove sutures, blood pressure check, weight check and complete FMLA paperwork.
  • Answer triage calls and schedule appointments as needed.
  • Handle calls/messages from patients, pharmacies, labs and diagnostic centers.
  • Build strong, positive communication with physicians and work as a team to enhance the success of the practice.
  • Develop strong inter-department teamwork to meet the needs of the patients and physicians.
  • Responsible for OSHA and other regulatory training and compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed to practice in Florida.
  • Appearance, behavior and communication skills must promote positive patient and co-worker relationships.
  • Ability to adjust to changing situations, and a very busy work environment.
  • Punctual and dependable for assigned shifts, and willing to cover as needed.
  • Uphold HIPAA regulations.
  • Willing to travel to other sites.
